There are hundreds of different styles of martial arts around the world, and choosing the one to study is a very important one. Kenpo Karate is not a sport it is a scientific art where we are learning to protect ourselves in the event of an attack. We are for "REAL". Kenpo is realistic, down to earth and employs sound logic and scientific theoretical innovations not used in other systems. Kenpo is a modern self-defense art, featuring unusual fast hand and foot combinations that are very practical and can be learned by any person. You DO NOT need to be an athlete or extremely flexible to master the Art of Kenpo. Since there is no emphasis on rewarding children for defeating each other in a fight they do not become combative. They instead learn to control their tempers and avoid trouble.
